Robert Grabel joined the ARTZ Philadelphia Board in 2025.

He serves as Director of Revenue for Resolve Philly, an independent nonprofit newsroom serving neighborhoods across the city. Robert is also President of Nonprofit Now! Consulting and Coaching, where he partners with nonprofit leaders to help them grow their impact and sustainability.

After more than a decade in financial services, Robert transitioned to the nonprofit sector, channeling his skills into philanthropy and leadership. He has raised millions in support of causes including senior care, housing and homelessness, youth development, education, and health.

A Philadelphia native, Robert recently returned home with his wife, Kimberly, and their two Labrador Retrievers. He is an author, musician, marathon runner and ice hockey goalie. His book Gifts from Mom: 7 Tips for Finding Light in the Darkness of Dementia reflects his belief in the power of love, creativity, and connection.

“I am excited and honored to join the board of ARTZ Philadelphia because I am inspired and completely aligned with our mission. I’ve seen firsthand the impact that music and the arts have had on my mom as we’ve navigated her dementia diagnosis. I’m so grateful for the hope and connectivity for those living with dementia, their families, and the community.”
