PROJECT COORDINATOR, ARTZ IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Cleo Smalls is the Project Coordinator for the ARTZ in the Neighborhood project. She joined the organization in April 2021 as the Community Engagement and Administrative Coordinator and now  devotes her time and attention to the ARTZ in the Neighborhood project. From a young age, Cleo displayed creativity and the eagerness to make a difference in her community by collaborating with both youth and older adults. She is passionate about bridging the gaps of generations through intergenerational programming.

Throughout her studies at Arcadia University, Cleo spent time as a recreational assistant caring for adults living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias, and she continues to pursue her career promoting positive aging for older adults through program implementation.

Cleo is a firm believer in combating stigmas and stereotypes like ageism. She strongly believes that “age is just a number!”
