About the Event

Join us on Tuesday, April 30th at 10am for an in-person Music in the Neighborhood program at Esperanza Health Center with Edgardo Cintron and Friends

Join us for the return of Music in the Neighborhood!

Music in the Neighborhood is back, with a new special guest: Edgardo Citron and Friends! Percussionist Edgardo Cintron is a second-generation Puerto Rican and a second generation musician. Known as much for his affable personality and generous spirit as for his tasty musicianship, Edgardo attributes his musical influences to his Father, Pablo, who played guitar in the U.S. military band and also with Charlie Parker, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana and Tito Puente. Edgardo has been playing since his youth and his unique flavor of Latin Jazz is sure to get you up and dancing!

“Music in the Neighborhood”  has returned thanks to the generous sponsorship of PECO Powering the Arts. It is a monthly program hosted by ARTZ Philadelphia, with various musical artists from the community performing in the Northwest and Hunting Park neighborhoods of Philadelphia and online, as a component of our “ARTZ in the Neighborhood” project.
