“The Road Ahead” in Poetry: A Café for Care Partners. Our April program gives us the opportunity to celebrate National Poetry Month with you, as we gather around the varied experiences of care partners. We invite you to share with each other your favorite poem(s) reflecting on “the road ahead,” or just to come and listen in community. (As always, we want this program to be what you want and need it to be.) No matter where each of us is in our journey, our imaginations can help us chart our course — through the power of poetry.
Special treat for longtime members of our community of care partners: this program will be co-hosted by longtime ARTZ Philly community member and care partner, Susan Jewett along with her husband Carl’s daughter Kay — in memory of Carl
Not sure where to start? Spend some time on poetry.org and find a familiar favorite or something completely new to bring to the group. Perhaps you’ve even written a poem of your own! Anything you bring will be welcomed.
