About the Event

ARTZ @ The Museum @ Fleisher is back! We are very excited about the return of our program with Fleisher Art Memorial.

Join us May 20th at 11:00 am (ET) for a joy-filled session in-person at Fleisher Art Memorial! After you register, we will send you information and instructions.

ARTZ @ The Museum is an informal, no-obligation program that offers weekly opportunities to join with others in museums and art centers around the Greater Philadelphia area. It all starts with the art: we look together at 2-3 works of art during an hour of group conversation. Groups are limited in size to 6-8 visitors with dementia plus their care partners to ensure an intimate and comfortable experience for everyone.

Please note: the event will be dependent on prevailing conditions related to COVID, as we will always prioritize the health and safety of our participants and staff. Masks and proof of vaccination are required to attend this event.

Admission is free with RSVP!

But we ask that you make your reservation(s) as early as possible. We keep our programs small and intimate in scale so that everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Reservations are first come, first served.

Accessibility, transit and parking:

Fleisher Art Memorial is ADA accessible. Limited parking is available in Fleisher’s parking lot, located on the south side of Catharine Street, opposite the main entrance. The parking lot is open during programming hours only. Parking spaces for persons with disabilities are located in the lot as well as in front of the school entrance on Catharine Street. Additionally, there are a number of municipal lots nearby.

Fleisher is also accessible via public transit:

SEPTA’s Route 47 bus runs south on 8th Street from Center City and and stops at the corner of 8th and Christian Streets, one-half block from Fleisher.
