Join jazz pianist Alex Levin for a very special ARTZ Notes. Alex is a favorite every year at our annual fundraiser and now he’s back by popular demand for his second ARTZ Notes program.

Spring is a time of renewal, rebirth, and joy! In the spirit of the season, Alex will play some music about the spring season, and we will enjoy visual art and poetry inspired by nature’s blossoming. Participants will be encouraged to share some of their favorite aspects of springtime, whether it be opening a window to enjoy some fresh air, or watering a favorite plant or flower. Let’s say “good riddance!” to winter and embrace this special time of year. We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Spring!

ARTZ Notes invites you to come together with other participants to listen to music, make your own, and engage with each other and the performers. ARTZ Notes offers music and experiences as diverse as our participants. We are exploring different options – all of them virtual for now – including facilitating live performances paired with conversations, interactive improvisation and sing-alongs, and conversations and movement around pre-recorded music of all genres.
