Dementia Unplugged: ARTFul Insights

A collaboration with the dementia society of america

Dementia Unplugged: ARTFul Insights is a partnership program of the Dementia Society of America and ARTZ Philadelphia. Every month, we partner with a different arts venue in a different state, from one side of the country to the other and in-between. Each session is centered on warm, welcoming, and engaging conversations around visual works of art from museums across the United States.

Program Information

ARTful Insights is presented by the Dementia Society of America as a part of its Dementia Unplugged series. Each program is hosted and facilitated by ARTZ Philadelphia. This partnership is ARTZ Philadelphia’s first nationwide program, broadening the scope of our ARTZ-Connect series of programs. Each program involves looking at 2-3 artworks from the museum or art center we are visiting that month and having a warm, open discussion about each artwork. ARTful Insights takes once a month on a Monday afternoon from 1:00-2:00 pm ET.

ARTFul Insights Videos

After each ARTFul Insights program, we create a follow-along video discussion that you can view at any time. The videos are hosted by an ARTZ team member and each one is around 30-40 minutes long. Enjoy an interactive discussion about an artwork from each museum we visit. These videos allow you to move through the artwork at your own pace and are available any time, day or night.
