Registration open for Healthy Aging Summit

Susan Shifrin scheduled to speak at 2018 Healthy Aging Summit in Washington, DC

— The 2018 Healthy Aging Summit will explore ways to keep Americans healthy as they transition into older adulthood and maximize the health of all older adults. The Summit will focus on prevention strategies that encourage healthy lifestyles, planning for aging, and improving the use of preventive services.

Susan Shifrin of ARTZ Philadelphia will speak on day Summit on a panel of healthy aging experts that will describe community-, nature-, and art-based programming and the benefits each has on cognitive and physical health. More specifically, the panel will discuss the research, policy, and practice implications of such programming along with strategies to maximize the availability, reach, and sustainability of community and creative interventions to support and empower older adults.
