Grace Christensen

Grace joined ARTZ Philadelphia as a Quaker Voluntary Service Fellow in September 2025.

Grace Christensen (she/her) is a 2024 graduate from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. She received her B.S. in Psychology with minors in Community Studies and Visual Arts with a concentration in Ceramics. She completed her interdisciplinary thesis titled “Connecting Cultures Through Clay,” which explored her experiences with being a Chinese transracial adoptee through various hand-built pieces. She spent the last year teaching English in Jaén, Spain, where she was able to meet people of different backgrounds and improve her Spanish. Grace is currently with ARTZ Philadelphia as a Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS) Fellow. Her primary focus is on volunteer outreach. She is most excited to work with ARTZ because she is passionate about surrounding herself with joy and laughter while connecting over the beauty of art.
