Cynthia Solis

Cynthia Solis joined the ARTZ Philadelphia Board in 2019.

Throughout her work and volunteer experience, Cynthia has gained an appreciation for the arts. She has had the opportunity to participate and collaborate with artists through Mural Arts Philadelphia. Cynthia has worked with the Alzheimer’s Association as the Latino Outreach Coordinator under the Diversity and Inclusion Department. She was also a Director for the Recreation Department at a rehabilitation & nursing center, where she created many educational programs for people living with dementia and other physical disabilities. Cynthia serves as part of the Golden Age committee, Spanish Advisory member and NAHN (National Association for Hispanic Nurses). Cynthia is passionate about working with the older adult population– especially at-risk populations such as Latino, Hispanic, African American, and LGBTQ communities.

Of her commitment to serving on ARTZ Philadelphia’s Board, she says “I hope that by being part of ARTZ Philly’s board, I can continue to make a difference by educating and advocating for underserved communities about dementia and related disorders through the arts.”
