Cristen Piatnochka

Cristen Piatnochka is the part-time Development Coordinator at ARTZ Philadelphia. She joined the organization in August 2026 to assist with the Campaign for a Joyful Future. 

Cristen is a nonprofit fundraising professional passionate about creating meaningful connections through culture, creativity, and community. She received her master’s degree in history from Monmouth University, where her research explored the intersection of art and fashion and the ways creative expression can connect people to another, their identities, and their stories. As a fabric artist and quilter, she continues to explore these connections through her own creative practices. 

She is excited to join ARTZ in creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.  Cristen is especially inspired by the way ARTZ reframes the conversation around dementia, and creates opportunities for joy, creativity, and connection.
