Only Connect :

An ARTZ Philadelphia and Memory Bridge Event Series

ARTZ Philadelphia and Memory Bridge are two organizations bound by a common mission: creating opportunities for people living with dementia and their care partners to CONNECT...  with each other; with family and friends; with other people traveling paths similar to their own; and with the wider community. And opportunities for those of us fortunate enough to experience these connections, to listen and learn from them about our common humanity.

ARTZ Philadelphia offers these opportunities through interactions around arts and culture and through broader-based educational and community-driven initiatives throughout Greater Philadelphia. Memory Bridge, based in Bloomington, Indiana, has brought its unique blend of humanist and deeply person-centered teachings to individuals and organizations across the globe through workshops, trainings, retreats and award-winning documentary filmmaking.

Special Events and Film Screenings

For the very first time, in September 2019, Memory Bridge's founder and director Michael Verde will join us in Philadelphia for a series of special events and film screenings. ARTZ Philadelphia will present the mid-Atlantic premiere of Memory Bridge's newest documentary "Love Is Listening: Dementia Without Loneliness." Michael will offer his intensive 4-hour workshop "I Am A Bridge" to attendees interested for personal and professional reasons in learning how to connect more intimately and deeply with people living with dementia.

Pre-registration is recommended as space is limited.
