Please join Keisha Hutchins Hirlinger for an hour of music making where we celebrate the ways in which both the sun, rain, and rainbows can remind us of the light, hope, and possibilities. RAINBOWS can be a metaphor for our lives. Without the rain or the harder moments, we would not appreciate the hope and joy that the sun can bring us. We also can find refuge and relief in the rain. While at times, it feels like we are having too many showers (or downpours!) the rain can remind us of the opportunity to cleanse ourselves, offering opportunities for renewal. The sun reminds us that there is still light and the possibility of hope. When we put all of these ways of experiencing life, the sun and the rain together, we are sometimes given the small miracle of a rainbow. A bit of magic that reminds us that there is still beauty, love, and hope in the world.
ARTZ Notes invites you to come together with other participants to listen to music, make your own, and engage with each other and the performers. ARTZ Notes offers music and experiences as diverse as our participants. We are exploring different options – all of them virtual for now – including facilitating live performances paired with conversations, interactive improvisation and sing-alongs, and conversations and movement around pre-recorded music of all genres.
